Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist
MBBS, MPH, PhD, FRACP 




Dr He is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist at Concord Hospital. She is highly experienced in all aspects of general gastroenterology including bowel cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease and functional gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome. She has a particular interest in liver disease, especially the management of viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease and liver cancer. 

Dr He’s clinical practice is complemented by his academic interests. She received a prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council Postgraduate Research Scholarship and the White-Walker Cancer Research Scholarship to conduct doctoral research in bowel cancer screening at the University of NSW and University of Oxford. She also completed a Churchill Fellowship to study emerging technologies and platforms in optimising bowel cancer screening. Dr He has authored numerous publications in bowel cancer screening and continues her research in bowel and liver cancer control at the Daffodil Centre, a joint venture between the University of Sydney and Cancer Council NSW. 

Dr He is fluent in English and Mandarin. She is dedicated to providing high quality patient-centred care to all her patients.
